Where can a parent go to find good tips on child development and parenting, ideas for activities for their families, and ways to get involved in this community?

Parent Central is the source for resources and information about issues affecting children and families. We invite parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, educators others to join our online community.

The Child Care Council of Dutchess and the New York State Child Care Coordinating Council are pleased to offer Parent Central Express, a monthly e-newsletter chocked full of ideas just for parents. In addition, when you sign up, you can subscribe to receive information specific to your needs and interests.

The Child Care Council of Dutchess and the New York State Child Care Coordinating Council are partnering with NACCRRA, the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, to provide you with Parent Central. In addition to Parent Central Express, Parent Central will connect you to local resources and news to keep you informed about this community and opportunities for you and your family! We use Parent Central to alert local parents about upcoming events, workshops, and more.

CCR&Rs, like the Child Care Council of Dutchess, help families find and afford quality child care.  CCR&Rs also train child care providers and help communities plan ways to increase the quality and decrease the cost of child care. The Child Care Council of Dutchess  provides these services to the child care communities of Dutchess and Putnam counties.

The Child Care Council of Dutchess is a member of NACCRRA. NACCRRA is the nation's network of more than 850 Child Care Resource and Referral agencies (CCR&Rs) located in every state and most communities across the United States.
