Understanding Sensory Exploration for the Developing Mind and Practical Art Activities for Early Childhood Staff (9:00-10:30 am):
This workshop will provide early childhood participants with research based information on creativity development and sensory input, hands-on practical experience exploring specific art techniques to promote relaxation and positive coping mechanisms for children, and therapeutic arts for the special needs child.

Understanding the Early Intervention and CPSE Referral Process (10:45-11:45 am):
Presenters: Gail Maisel, Administrator of EI and Preschool Programs PCDOH, Suzanne Peretz, Director of Lower Hudson Early Childhood Direction Center

The cost for the conference is $15.00 for each participant.
OCFS topics covered include: principals of childhood development and child day care program development.

This conference is appropriate for FDC/GFDC and DCC staff.
