Difficult Conversations with Parents series - Part 2
This is part two of a three part series titled "Difficult Conversations with Parents."
Session 2 - The Impact of Family Conflict on Children
Family conflict is unavoidable, yet can be highly productive when it clarifies needs and interests. However, children are harmed when there is exposure to chronic, high conflict. This workshop will explore: the difference between healthy and unhealthy conflict; how children are impacted by chronic exposure, and ways in which safe conflict can be addressed productively. Participants will also learn of “red flags” that indicate the need to employ safety measures.
