 youngsters can begin to foster a connection with nature and become protect
 ors of the planet. This session will be a primer on sowing seeds for both 
 adults and children\, starting with a short presentation on the A-Z of see
 ds\, covering children’s safety and equipment\, plant anatomy\, light need
 s\, soil requirements\, hardiness zones\, days to maturity\, and sowing me
 thods. The majority of the session will be hands-on workshop led by Master
  Gardeners\, Susan Kavy and Kathy Smith\, on creative methods and mediums 
 for planting seeds using seed tape and paper. In addition\, there will be 
 examples and take-away instructions on using recyclables and imagination t
 o start seeds…all just in time for Spring!!\n\nFee $15 adults. Up to 2 chi
 ldren\, accompanied by adult\, no charge. Additional children $5 each. Fee
  includes materials. To register\, please e-mail Nancy Halas or call 845-6
