  attend school. The work they do enables over 300 Dutchess and Putnam Coun
 ty businesses to continue operating with employees who can devote their at
 tention to their work because they have the assurance that their children 
 are lovingly cared for by child care professionals.\n\nChampions of Child 
 Care will recognize child are workers for milestones of years in the early
  care and education field and for educational achievements. To celebrate t
 he value of the daily work of the child care workers\, special awards will
  be presented to those who were nominated by parents or peers for outstand
 ing performance. City and County dignitaries also honor the child care pro
 fessionals for their valuable contributions to the community.
