 holding classes across the state. The program was designed by DHSES and co
 vers a broad range of emergency preparedness topics like developing a fami
 ly emergency plan\, what to do in the case of an Active Shooter situation\
 , stocking up on emergency supplies\, and registering for NY-Alert\, the f
 ree statewide emergency alert system.\n\nTrainer: Citizens Preparedness Co
 rps.\nCost: $20 per person\n\nAppropriate for all modalities and open to t
 he public.
