Empire State Family Child Care Collaborative

The Empire State Family Child Care Collaborative (ESFCCC) is a free program for registered and licensed home-based child care providers in Dutchess and Putnam Counties. It is offered by the Child Care Council of Dutchess and Putnam (CCCDP) and the Early Care & Learning Council.

Members receive:

  • Free child care management software (Playground or Brightwheel)
  • Help with business tasks like recordkeeping and finances
  • Training and support to use technology and grow their program
  • Free telemedicine access for staff
  • Workshops on topics like retirement planning and business skills

The Collaborative also gives providers a chance to connect, share ideas, and learn from one another in a supportive network.

A dedicated Early Childhood Business Support Specialist works closely with members by leading monthly meetings, offering one-on-one support, and providing additional resources.

This program is open to family and group family child care providers in good standing with OCFS who are willing to participate in meetings and services.
