Parenting a Second Time Around (PASTA)
This seven session educational workshop series is designed to meet the specific needs of caregivers who are parenting related children.
Participants will learn about:
- Changing roles and responsibilities
- Legal issues and resources
- Rebuilding a family
- Understanding children's behavior
- Positive discipline that really works
- Living with teens
- Accessing community resources
- Advocating for your relative children
No charge to grandparents and other relatives raising children; $25 fee for professionals seeking continuing education (fee includes all workshops and program materials)
