This professional development training for early childhood educators explores the purpose, value, and best practices of effective documentation in early learning environments, Participants will learn how meaningful observation and documentation help make children’s learning visible, guide intentional teaching, strengthen family partnerships, and support individualized learning experiences. Through reflective discussion and practical examples, educators will examine what to document, how to document objectively and respectfully, and when documentation should be shared with families, colleagues and support professionals.
