This presentation will begin with a discussion of the language used by members of the LGBTQ+ community, which includes basic definitions and the currently accepted terminology. We will then focus on how to support trans and gender expansive youth and the unique challenges they face, and hopefully answer any and all of the questions that you have. Throughout this presentation, we will discuss and correct common misconceptions about trans/gender expansive youth.
