Champions of Child Care publicly recognizes child care workers in Dutchess and Putnam Counties who, despite low wages and long hours, have chosen to care for over 10,000 children so their parents can work or attend school.
The work they do enables over 300 Dutchess and Putnam County businesses to continue operating with employees who can devote their attention to their work because they have the assurance that their children are lovingly cared for by child care professionals.
