When advertising your business you must remember these three important parts:
Who is your audience?
- You run a Child Care Program but you are trying to reach the adult caregivers! Showcase how you keep the children safe and entertained, this will win over their hearts and minds.
- Finding your audience will allow you to find a baseline of who to advertise to and help you create your brand
Create an eye-catching headline:
- Not only does this involve fonts and colors, but your headline also needs to shout “Hey! Check us out!”
- “Join our program today!” works but, “Come adventure with us!” has more energy and is more fun.
- Don’t forget to highlight the unique aspects of your program. Create a logo or a slogan that applies to what you do each day.
- Remember to use fonts that are easy to read.
Why should people support you?
- Remember to appeal to your audience’s emotions, tug on those heartstrings!
- Your program is trusted with their children, remind them that you are an educator there to nurture and support!
- Your commitment to safety, education and emotional well-being must be showcased.
Focusing on these ideas will help you to create a basic advertising plan. If you have any questions or would like some assistance with this topic, please reach out to Sarah Rokitowski, Director of Marketing and Outreach: 845-473-4141 ext. 219 or srokitowski@gmail.com
