In this training, teachers will recognize the difference between a "time out" used in a positive way and a "time out" used in an inappropriate way.  Teachers will learn alternatives to isolating children when they need guidance, and discuss other disciplinary strategies.  They will analyze the effects of "time out" on children and on their behaviors.
