This interactive workshop will help teachers understand how using stories in a preschool classroom can help young children develop cognitive skills and promote social development. It will also provide ideas on how to incorporate stories to help develop language and literacy. Participants will take part in group activities, share ideas, and gain an understanding of how stories enhance the early childhood classroom experience. Participants will receive patterns to make their own felt stories at home.
