Are you confused about how to use the NYS Foundation for the Common Core learning standards within your play-based program? Does the concept of “Kindergarten-Readiness” challenge you? This training will provide an overview of the five developmental domains, their benchmarks and their indicators. The NYS Early Learning Guidelines will also be reviewed, and participants will prac-tice using the Harmes, Cryer and Clifford Environmental Rating Scales (ECRS, ITRS, FCCRS, and SAC-CRS) and the NYS Core Body of Knowledge as practical guides for assessing and improving the qual-ity of their programs.
