Come join us for a conversation with RIE Associate, Shannon Carr, about the best
practices around infant and toddler care. When children and their carers are seen, heard,
valued, and respected their relationship shifts and their day-to-day interactions often
become increasingly thoughtful, relaxed, and fulfilled for all. This is the foundation of
Magda Gerber’s Educaring Approach and the pathway to self-directed, confident,
connected young people.
Shannon Carr has a passion for the care and respect 0-3 year olds receive. Shannon
holds a Master’s in Early Education and Child & Family Development. As the owner
and class facilitator at RISE, she supports our youngest generation by working to
maintain the self-confidence infants and toddlers are born with, while building
resilience, social skills, and grit. These are also skills that are strengthened in the
parents that attend her classes.
